AutoPOL Piper
AutoPOL
Piper
for Windows is the easiest possible way to create 3D models with flat
patterns for production. All you need to do is select what model you
want to create, enter dimensions and generate the flat pattern. The
result is then exported as a DXF file to your NC system.
Many different models can be created with AutoPOL Piper. Even though we think the models we have today cover most needs, we are constantly developing new models. These models become available to all users that have a valid Software Maintenance Contract. Below you find 9 examples of models from AutoPOL Piper

All
dimensions and other options, such as thickness and opening lines, are
easily entered in model specific dialog boxes. These dialog boxes are
very easy to understand and intuitive.
When you are satisfied with your settings, just click OK and the model
is created and dimensioned automatically.Flat patterns are created
simply by using the Unfold command.

Models created in other CAD system often get crossbends |
Models created in AutoPOL system will never get crossbends |
Everything that is created in AutoPOL Piper is done with regards to how the parts are manufactured. As an example you will not get any parts where crossbending are required, which is very common when parts are designed in a regular CAD system.
Another import fact is that you will always get DXF files where all spline entities are converted to arcs, lines or circles. This is very important for the NC systems, since they often can not handle splines. Double lines at contours does not exist in AutoPOL
DXF
files can be specially configured to match different macinery. For
example settings are available for Trumpf, FinnPower, AccurPress, Amada,
Ursviken, Cybelec, Delem and Bystronic.
