AutoPOL Designer
AutoPOL Designer for Windows as stand alone software, offers the user a fast and flexible tool to create 3D sheet metal models without any other CAD software. Models are exported via neutral file formats (ACIS SAT, STEP & IGES).is parametric designer for sheet metal modeling. The software admits design of all kind of single curved models like cabinets and brackets also in multiple parts. Punch press tools can be selected in order to achieve correct inner radius for bends.
Patterns like louvers, obrounds and circular cut outs are generated from included tool list. This tool list is editable and can be customised for the user from what is available in his work-shop.
3D model and flat pattern is instantly available, just selecting on 2D or 3D buttons. Flat pattern is compensated (with k-factor) and can be send as DXF for production. DXF files are configured for common NC systems (punch press, cutting and press brake controllers).
In the ADW a view generator create desired orthogonal and isometric
views. If generated view set-up is exported as DXF, it can be printed
from any present viewer or CAD software.
APW
can also be used as an application for AutoCAD and enables parametric
3D sheet metal design on the 2D platform. In this case generated model
is used to generate views and compensated flat pattern for present,
opened AutoCAD session.
If created AutoCAD drawing of model needs to be edited, the APW model is
opened for editing and drawing is updated just clicking a button.
